Has anybody had think skin problem with their French bulldog? He has had it for a cupple of months and its just getting worce we have been to the vet a d he was given steroids that didn't help at all iv tryed changing his food to hypoallergenic and given him anti allergy tablets and still no change. The vet doesn't seem to know what's wrong and I don't want to put him through unnecessary tests just for the vets benefit £££. He's only 7 months old and its not fair on him he has itchy paws and eyes but the rest doesn't bother him the hair is growing back but the redness won't go away.
Get a referral to a vet dermatologist they are more likely to get a quicker and precise solution, saving money in the long run.
It might be worth contacting the breeder for his/her suggestions. Also, perhaps you could look at any French Bulldog Breed Clubs online to see if there's any advice there. Hope you can find an answer to the problem soon!
