Yep, they do. I can't remember ever seeing handlers in any other breed carrying a slobber cloth routinely in the show ring, but we in Irish Setters always do. :)

    Hi Dawn,
I'd be lost without my slobber cloth when showing the English Setters. The Pointers are brilliant though, you don't even have to take a brush in the ring with you. :)

Will have to check the IRWS ring next Sunday for slobber cloths now!

my passion started as a child, i went to primary school with a boy called william and his parents had one(kerry), she was gorgeous and i've never forgotten her. i always wanted one. we got jazzie at 8 weeks(shes 3 in july) and kenny(6) we rescued last summer. i could honestly not live my life without a setter!!

so hows the re- call ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how old is he by the way?

Well, we took him at the forest for the first time out ever lol, and he did wander off abit but he soon realise where we were when we called him.

He's offically aloud out on monday so we'll see then. I don't think he'd run away though TBH ...

His recall in the house, garden etc. is excellent. so, he shouldn't be that bad :) ... We'll have to see :)

He was born on 7th October. And we've had him 4 weeks/1 month tomorrow (saturday) :)

    He's 20 Weeks :D
Do you think he's Show quality? just out of intrest?

    hiya,

oh happy times eh! bless him, he is gorgeous. i actually don't know if he is show quality as i don't show either of mine. you had best ask scorpio, nursey or rachelsetters - i think they all show - but i'm not 100%!!

    i think he's lush!!
