Hi Archer... I emailed Norwegian Elkhound Rescue too... do you know how they got on? I was very tempted to offer a home but already have two males and the rescue dog was the same age as my young one so thought it might upset the "apple cart". Update, got an email from Norwegian Elkhound rescue... and some one is hoping to rehome him... they've had a rescue Elkhound before so hopefully a happy ending. It feel warm just knowing that posting here and contacting Elkhound rescue made his stay in rescue short.
