My Story:

I grew up with the working breeds. It’s all I’ve ever known. I had several foster dogs over a couple year span and I have dog sit consistently for people for years. I am fairly familiar with all breeds and their unique traits. I have always dreamed of owning an Akita and I finally got one several months ago. I got him from a breeder because of their temperament. I wanted to raise him from a baby and meet his parents before diving into such a complex breed. I also live in an apartment community, so he is faced with several new people, animals and situations on a regular basis. Eventually I would love to train him to be a therapy dog and have him become a foster brother to other pets.
