My Story:

I am 40 something ;-) Two grown up kids, one at Uni one at 6th form college.

At home but trying to decide what to do with the rest of my life, would love to do something with dogs, any ideas?

Had dogs since I was 9, most of them chose me in some way, I have only ever bought one pup from a breeder and that was my Pointer, Archer. I always wanted a Pointer and when we moved into a house at the foot of the Surrey Hills the time was right. He has been by my side for 8 years now and is the best dog anyone could wish for.

Have done some Working Trials training and Archer and I did our KC Good Citizen awards and had great fun. Tried a bit of showing but he and I had a conversation and he said it wasn't for him, so that was that ;-)

I genuinely love all sorts of dogs except ones that yap, yap, yap, but I live next door to two that do it, fortunately my staffie thinks they are beneath contempt and totally blanks them :D
