- My Story:
-
Sadly have just had to change my Profile, changing 2 dogs to 1 dog.I had 2 dogs ,Buster and Lulu, both rescues, both 14,who had come to us as puppies at 3 months old in Feb 1997.In May 1997 we brought home 2 kittens, both rescues, both about the same age. There were times at the beginning when I wondered whether we were mad,but as they grew up together it was a joy to see as they bonded into 1 little family. They would sit at the window together and Buster was like a dad to the kittens. Our whole world revolved around them. Then Lulu died suddenly the day before yesterday,Jan 28,2011 and we are all devastated.Ive posted about this on other pages and have had many kind responses. We now have Buster who has dementia and 3 cats,Rigsby, named from Rising Damp,Dougal, named from Father Ted,both 14 and little Ollie aged 6,all indoor cats. They bring such joy to us. Really enjoying the exchange of ideas, finding information, plus the kind support weve received in the last few days.
Again I need to change this info-as we lost our lovely 15 yr old ginger boy Dougal last Saturday,12 th May
Sadly we lost our lovely "dementia dog" Buster on October19th,2012.Such a lovely gentle boy who struggled so hard to stay with us.
Now with his Lulu and Dougal-who adored him.
