My Story:

Grew up in the country on a small holding, with plenty of animals around, both working and pets. As a child I had an Irish Setter, while my brother's dogs were another Irish Setter and 2 German Shepherds. I also worked summer holidays in a boarding kennel, surrounded by all varieties of breeds, cross breeds and all sorts of wonderful "Heinz 57s."
When I moved to the city at 17 I felt lost without a canine companion so soon adopted a rescue Border Collie, who sadly passed away in 2011 at the ripe old age of 18.
My partner and I recently got our first joint pup, a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback whom we have named Cora. She has a wonderful temperament, is doing great with her training and has helped get us back into a healthy outdoor routine instead of wasting hours on the sofa! She gets on great with our old lady moggie, Luci, and has become a firm friend of our postie too!
