    My Story:
I grew up in Weardale Co. Durham, North East of England and moved to North Yorkshire at the age of 5. I've now moved back to Co. Durham and share my life with Isla and Oscar.

As a toddler we had a PRT named Bobby and I owned an ESS named Bonnie from the age of 5 to 20. At the age of 17, I got Pickles, from the Dogs Trust, a dog to call my own! Bonnie and Pickles lived together for 3 years and when Bonnie passed Woody the rescue Lab arrived 1 year later. Both Woody and Pickles were from Dogs Trust and lived happily together until.........

..........along came Isla my latest English Springer, who came home in the July of 2006. She came from a kennel I've long admired, not only do they breed dual purpose dogs, but black and whites are their speciality! I had hoped to breed Isla, but after being diagnosed with congenital cataracts the difficult decision was made to have her spayed and the hunt was on to find her a friend. At which point along came Oscar the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla. Oscar is a gundog in the making and a very bright boy at that! Isla and Oscar were recently joined by Rossi, my parents black and white ESS. Both Oscar and Rossi are shown, whilst Isla is currently enjoying her retirement - until I find out what will happen to her coat!

My main aim in life is to own/breed gundogs that can compete equally in the show ring as the working field.
    Working and showing Gundogs
