Haha. It needed a break! Tally has spotted her breeder at the ringside. She's still a little tubby, maybe having her spayed was not my best idea. Still a work in progress.
We all know that weight standards are written by men who have no idea what it's like to be a young lady trying to maintain her waist in the midst of so much temptation. She is a perfect shape and shouldn't be held to such silly standards.
Sounds like Tally is really enjoying both the mental and physical challenge. Nose work can be so rewarding for dogs and owners.
Tally is a one off as a Beagle. I have to find things for her to do or she would be happy to sleep her life away and grow fat. (Yes, she has been tested for low thyroid hormones). Her passion is searching, whether for articles, or people and other dogs. She is a really good girl to live with - too well behaved to be a hound.
Trailing again this weekend. A good report, so.I think we are ready to try for our next assessment. Locating our lost person. Can't load the one of Tally mugging her target person for a sausage! Me doing my bit by being a moving target for one of the others in the group.
