I don't think that's the case, the curly is more common in the US, so it's more likely to get one there than here, most breeders here have wavy, so...
Apart from the obvious size difference, it will all depend on breeds and individual dogs, some breeds males are more challenging, some are more aloof...
Working and gun dogs, I like a medium large breed both short and long coat....

I`m not sure about that, in the UK the curly coats are few and far between, due to the show ring preferring the wavy coat, you wont see many curly...
I think thats very important, you could easily be fooled because its a medium sized breed its a moderate dog to own, but the energy they have along...

As above they are PWD and both curly and both in the retriever /pet clip.. You can also get a worly, that's somewhere in-between the curly and wavy...

Yes cancer is a problem in the breed, hopefully one day we will be able to eradicate it, just like with us.
