There can be a higher chance of a dog having week nerves, if the breeder just breeds for colour, rather than temperament. So white, blue, liver...

My mum has 2 westies, both females and they are under the age of 2. From the start I have been very strict with them, taking them to training...
Zara is 7, 24 and 1/2 inches to the withers and a few months ago she was 32kg. But I think she is about 30/31kg now. :)
