Jazz had a gold 'mane' in his fist year, but it grew out and settled. He was neutered at 7 months though so may be different for your guy :)

I know....but mine all have quite thick coats...so you loose the effect of nice collars. ...or...at least that's what I keep telling myself!!

Why not?? HD is often masked my muscle tone! I purchased my pure BC from health tested parents, for £400 - people charge about £750 for Poodle...
