This is a very old ad ...... I am curious about the "show home" part???? These dogs are being bred all over and generally do not make great pets...
Mine are worked in harness (Malamutes) and also do agility and obedience .... even if they weren't worked in harness they would still be happy pets...
Why?? They were bred for a pastoral job ...

It's not thick :) Pastoral dogs tend to be those who have worked with livestock - herders, flock guards etc ..... the utilities are those who don't...
