Breedia Dog Forum
There is a good article here : http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-countryside/gwd/wolfdogs/wolfdogs.pdf from a government study that will answer a fair...
Just reposting this as I don't think anything has been added since I first posted it
But surely if it's recognised, and endorsed by the KC, then how can that same practice be bad in any breed. Or is it just because it's a wolfy breed?
Don't worry, I'm not going to go on the prove it crusade :-) If you go to the shoshone site they'll tell you you may need a license, different...
Er, no. I mean using the CWD as in the case of BIDs
What I was trying to do by comparing established breeds is show that if something is going on, and accepted as good breeding practices in KC...
A very nice piece of misdirection. Err, can you tell me what these claims are that I've been making Dawn? I can't remember making any. There...
Won't get what exactly?
Nicely taken out of context patch. But I'll still answer it. Because that would make them breeders, not owners. Read the whole original post.
Nope, what I need is facts, not opinions, not quotes from some 3rd person. I agree, there's no excuse. Nope, that's not what I'm implying, I say...
Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. You're right tho'. if I was ever to breed, I don't think I would be accepting anyone's word as proof, or some...
Yep, makes sense, don't want to argue with it, never have. But where is the factual evidence that it is happening on a large scale within the wolfy...
I think you are deliberately trying to not understand me. I am not, nor have ever said too much in-breeding is right. I'll admit right now it's...
And they've inherited these from the pedigree breeds they've been crossed with?
I disagree, please quantify huge. With respect to all the wolfy breeds, the fact that one stud or dam has a hereditary problem is not a huge problem,...
I have understood this fact. The key word here is potentially. If people would say there is a potential problem with the health of the wolfy dogs,...
What do you mean by so many? How many issues, and how many dogs have these issues? What facts are you basing that comment on?
I agree, they could be, but are they?
I'm not suggesting that at all. But if it's not a fact then people shouldn't present it as one, they should present it as an opinion.
I'll stick to the numbering, it's a good idea :-) 1. You're right, sorry 2. This wasn't aimed at you. There are posts on this thread that do say...
