no probably not I use a lead with a slip at one end and a washer to keep it in place picies to follow
I take mine off in the house and to be honest I just use a gundog slip if im not letting them off lead as its easier

The only reason I'm not getting into an argument is my thoughts and reasons for docking are on here on other threads, this is a thread for gundog...
