My GSDs ears have always been pricked, so I have never had to worry about it. I think I might be slightly disappointed if I had one with a floppy...
My sister has four Spinoni and they do make fab pets. They are really laidback, friendly and trainable - but are quite large, with slobbery beards...
My first GSD bitch was a failed police dog and I bought her from Lancashire Police for around £125 (I think). She did come with pedigree papers....
He is gorgeous and looking so mature now Dawn. A real credit to you.

After being a non-small dog person for a very long time, I have now fallen very much in love with my sister's very cute border terrier bitch :-)

Ours all have traditional names. I think it is possibly partly due to them being working sheepdogs and I much prefer traditional names for collies....
