Have you had a look at some of the smooth coated terriers if you aren't keen on shaggy? Just look at Toby on here ... he is a dish :-)

Gorgeous dogs everyone. I know absolutely zilch about NI dogs, but they are certainly a beautiful bunch :-)
As others have said, pups are born with blue eyes and they tend to change over time, eventually ending up the colour they should be for the breed.
We gave it to a shepherd friend.

Lad is now almost fully grown and showing well on the sheep now. He is still a handsome boy ... I will try and get some pics of him later.
Haha - yes I did need them! :-) There is a really interesting programme on the half an hour before the sheepdog programme, called "Croit"....
