I'm just interested in people opinions as to why/what makes NIs etc are 'different'.

Agreed- they are affectively crosses and have not been around enough to develop consistence in type

I suspect it was a Czech cross. On a slightly different note- How did you research and meet the cvs breed with so few in the country?
