Blue's staffords still rare ? Discussions

    I don't think anyone has done the comparison so I think it is just in the breed.

    There are the odd 1 or 2 blues that do okay in the ring. I just dont think there are alot of blue breeders that really go out of their way to produce KC standard dogs, infact I would go out on a limb to say that blues generally dont meet KC standards these days...breeders perhaps arent particularly fussed about the standard of bitch their dog may breed to, etc. Plus alot NOT ALL people after a blue dont actually want to pursue the showing and such like even though they might have a perfect standard dog....just the way it seems to be at the mo

    That's gone up a bit :shock:
    Last figures were about 30% if I remember correctly.
    I wish the KC would ban Blue to Blue breeding.....

    You can not actually have a perfect standard blue because of the pigmentation.

    Lol, okay, no but you can have one that is more than capable of doing well in a ring.
