Based on looks. Is my puppy a pure Border Collie or a mix with a heeler? The breeder says he´s a BC but some vets have said otherwise, he´s almost 3 months old.
B Beautiful pup , nice intelligent eyes. Did you see the parents? Although that speckled color on the chest is seen in cattle dogs and could be on your dog too, It’s not impossible for a little in some other breeds either. if I saw your pup in Australia where I live , I would immediately assume cattle dog in it. because They are so common here . It would be very likely. btw. I used to have a border collie cross cattle dog when I was growing up. Absolutely brilliant dog . She had lots of energy to keep up with me and my brothers. Perfect dog she was for our adventures on a small farm and sport.
