Can anyone help me identify what bull breed this guy is?

Just rescued this amazingly smart and sweet gentleman. He is two years old and 65 pounds. I have a few photos but they are not great. Sorry. I'd really like to know what he is. Thanks for your help!

Thank you Chris. I'm just learning about the breed. What told you he was a Staffie?

Thanks, since I'm still learning, what makes his adorable smile give him away as a Staffie?

Thanks, Carole, What identified him as a Staffie? I'm still learning how to tell the difference. Do Staffies normally not have a bobbed tail?

His general appearance is that of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and they do have a full tail. Of course we are looking at a photo, and can't see what might be beneath the skin. It is always possible that he has blood from another breed, but the Staffie 'look' is the most dominant. The only way to tell for sure would be to DNA test him - for breed identification alone Wisdom Panel is I think the most economical. Embark will give more info, but most of it will be of no use to you.
He looks Staffie enough to just accept him as being that.

His face and muscular build (if I'm seeing the photo' correctly) are distinct staffie in appearance. Try comparing images on the web and you'll see why we all think the same.

Hectic, loving breed, but can be dog aggressive so something to watch for.
