This is Cindy. I got her from the RSPCA on 25th April, 1982. She was 4 years old when I got her and she died in October 1998, aged 20. She was such a sweet dog, never brought me a days bother, my daughter learnt to walk with her, she was never destructive, never dirty in the house, never aggressive, never noisy. She was as near as you could get to a perfect dog. RIP Cindy, long gone but never forgotten, a beautiful girl. As a matter of coincidence - my late Dad's birthday was 25th April, and my rescued Vizsla, Rory was born on 25th April 1982!!(He died in December 1998 ) How weird is that!!!:smt048
aww, she looks lovely. and its great to hear how special she was, i think too many people miss out on being blessed with a 'special' dog, you know, one which can never be replaced, but also never forgotten. RIP cindy.
I agree. Of course we love all our pets, but some of them have such a huge impact on our lives, being there at some of the most important and/or difficult times. Looks like Cindy was one of those special dogs. Lovely
