    How do you avoid knots? Loki has curly bits behind his ears that just seem to knot on a whim.

    Yes knots behind the ears can be a hugeproblem. I tease them out when they happen. Ears are the worst part of the whole coat, the rest is quite easy!

    :lol: I try that but sometimes have to resort to scissors! I hate to do that - it gets so curly someone actually asked me if I'd crinkled it!:lol:

    i found a brilliant comb that teases the knots without pulling. it has smaller teeth and longer ones.;-)

    I love rough collies, there is a 14 year old gentleman we see on our walks regularly. He's such a clever gentle lad and gets on really well with our two.
