Well here`s what the colour should be:

All shades of fawn, from a dark red fawn to a light fawn. A rich coat color is considered desirable. Limited white patches are permissible on the chest and the extremities of the limbs

So looking at the puppies., I would imagine a different dog has sired some of them.

in fact sod it can i have one of each colour in each sex?
    or all of them?
12 dogs under the age of one would go really well right?

Bitches can carry pups from multiple sires in one litter.

I don't know, just because it's not in the standard, doesn't make them mixes. You can get black and tan labs, even rarer long coats, it doesn't make them lab crosses.

OK. I`m not going to argue.
The OP asked opinions and mine is that this is not the right colour for a Dogue de Bordeaux. The two pups with white markings that is. Chocolate brown might occur in youngsters I suppose, then change.... but the white markings are not going to change.
Perhaps the DDB`s have an outcross in their pedigrees?
OP - have you seen their papers?

Not yet... I'm going to see all that in a couple of weeks hence why I was asking questions.
I know all health checks have been done on both parents.

Be careful then - DDB are the latest `cross` for status dogs and there are some dodgy people about these days. Ask why the two pups have those white patches for a start?
A good breeder will also be able to give references, health test results etc.
BTW - it has been known for bad breeders to say `health tested` and omit the fact the dog had a poor test result!

I will ask all the questions I can. I wouldn't like to have a dog not knowing anything about it's parents.

Well as it wasn't an argumentative comment, I'm glad you're not going to argue with it.

They might well be crosses, they might just be nonstandard. I don't know enough about the breed to say for definite.

They don't look like typical DDBs to me either. Personally I would avoid.

    Ditto with this.
I know we can't see much of the Mum, but from that photo she didn't even look like a DDB colour, or the right shape of face
