Hi everyone! My family and I are getting our first German Shorthaired Pointer puppy at the end of the month, and we’re so excited. He’ll be about 8 weeks old when we bring him home. It’s actually a surprise for our 11‑year‑old son, so he doesn’t know yet — and we’re letting him choose the name once they meet. Our home has always been full of animals, especially dogs and cats, and we really value raising them in a loving, healthy, coexisting family environment. I’m here to learn everything I can — training tips, healthy routines, and how to give this little guy the happiest start in life.
