    Erythema

    Hi,

My 11 year-old male, Oscar, has erythema between his toes and is licking incessantly, which makes it worse. Soaking in Epsom salt and using cortisone spray are two things that have been recommended.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.

Have you changed his food recently? If so, change to one that is grain free and has a different protein source.
Is this a seasonal allergy? If so, I would try wrapping his paws and giving him a Piriton antihistamine tablet as a First Aid treatment.
If you are not sure of the cause, I would let your vet have a look at him.
