Golden Retriever ---------------- Here's some Golden Retriever info from fellow Dogwebber Liberty: The Golden Retriever is a canine all-rounder. They can turn their talents to anything, from their natural retrieving instinct, to acting as a Guide Dog for the Blind, a detector of drugs or explosives, a reasonably laid back obedience worker or just being a most attractive member of the household. Standing around 61cm (24") , they give the impression of being a solid comfortable dog, who loves getting their snout into the trough as often as possible, so do watch their waistline!! The colour varies from pale cream to a rich golden. They are easy to train, but need to be kept interested as they are easily bored. As one pf the most popular household dogs because of their loving, generous nature, care should be taken to ensure the breeder is reputable, with the welfare of their dogs at heart. Ensure both parents have been hip-scored and eye tested.
