Hello from Indiana, We are the very happy owners of 3 Alaskan Mals and 1 Siberian. These kids are just like potato chips I guess.... you cannot just have one lol..... Our biggest boy Cody weighs 150 lbs and thinks he is a lap dog. Pure love when he looks at you. Having said that we have run into a bit of a conundrum over the past 7 years with our kids. We have had everything from a cheapo low end run of the mill sweeper to a 500 dollar dyson. None of which have been able to keep up with the hair in our residence. I am looking for any suggestions as our Dyson just took a crap yesterday and well ....... as many owners know a day without sweeping and wozers... you have a mess.... Thank you in advance.
Hi Matt, welcome to the forum. The wheels fell off our last Dyson. The bristles have worn off this one. In between we have had a cheapo Tesco Animal which blows some of the hair up into the air, thus relocating it from the floor to the furniture. The Oreck works quite well, but doesn't have an extension hose. We are also due to invest, so I am dying to know what recommendations you will get.

Hey Matt, I gave up on carpet 4 years ago. All hardwood floors for me now Oh, and I dust mop every day. If a Dyson isn't cutting it, you might want to seriously consider replacing the carpet with hardwood.
