Hi, Im a Newbie Needing Your Help Questions

Hi guys.

i am new to dogsey but i am needing your opinoin.

i have a staffy cross named paris. and i really wanna know what she's crossed with.

So here's my situation ;

I adopted Paris when she was 12 weeks old. at that time she was small and only weighed 13 lb. Now she is 6 months. She is taller than a fully grown lab and weighs 50lb (she is fed normal portions of food, and isn't fat)worried about what she is crossed with.

My guess would be Boxer, but thats just my opinion, and probably based on her brindle markings and the size you describe

My guess would be something larger, perhaps a Great Dane. Quite often a mix will favor one parent or another. You could always try DNA, http://www.biopetvetlab.com/dnahome.htm or http://www.wisdompanel.com/

At first glance I thought maybe a Boxer x Lab or she could even be a Staffy x Lab.

im really not sure from loking at those photos. why are you worried though just out of interest?

i would say mastiff... we get alot of pups at our surgery that looks like your babe ;-)

o thats always a dnger with young crossbreeds but she looks like a lovely girl. i wouldnt trust those dna test tho ive heard of some very mixed results.

She is gorgeous, can't offer any idea on what she is crossed with though. But, I wouldn't worry about it.
