The little black devil hasn't been on "speaking" terms with my friend Erika for weeks, all because, she helped me snip some cleavers out of his beard, which in his mind was absolutely unforgivable! How dare she touch his carefully cultivated beard! Anyway, today after weeks of ignoring her, he finally unbent a little and allowed her to pet him, but wouldn't accept a treat from her which he regards as bribery!
