Irish Water Spaniels info wanted. Questions

I am deffo getting this breed for my next dog (probably in the next 2-3 years).

Any info, pictures, links, books anyone can give?

Anyone got any info of some good breeders?

Is it sad that I already know what I want and have picked a name

I think you have to be careful re temperament with other dogs from what I've heard.

I was walking Parker out of our vets after he had been in for treatment for a dog bite There was a man standing there with an Irish Water spaniel and he let go of the lead and it charged at Parker and tried to have a go at him but I body-blocked it and shouted "NO" at it very loudly.

I glared at the bloke and he just said "oh-it's only a puppy" in a disapproving tone of voice Like that makes it ok then!

I know one encounter with a breed shouldn't put you off but I guess it's just because they're rare and I haven't met any others.

There is one round here,called Morgan and he is very friendly & playful.

I've met a couple, they were awesome dogs and soooo neat looking!

My aunty breeds them, fantastic dogs. They are prone to being a bit skittish so be careful which breeder you go to.
