Hi my name is jamie, In April of 2015 i got a dog, and her name is jesse. I was told she was a Cattle dog mixed with shepard. Now I've been doing research on her and i stumbled across the Basenji breed. She has all the characteristics of a Basenji and none whatsoever of cattle dog or shepard she is extremely affectionate, loves to play, acts like a pup still, she does the "yodeling" and has the stance and the wrinkles between her ears on her forehead when she is excited or curious. I wanted to ask other owners of basenjis if there's anyrhing else i should be looking for or not
