Ugh. Not only did I wake at DST and was not comfortable to stay in bed, but Tikva decided it was up time also according to DST, and demanded her breakfast before my brain had really gotten into gear.

I also hate the fact that it is now going to get dark so early.

I hate the dark nights. It feels like permanent night most of the time during the winter months.

I hate having such long dark evenings, having to have lights on all the time. We do not have a Spring or Autumn as such - it seems to be just a couple of weeks from Summer to Winter and vice versa, with no time to get used to the change.
