Good vid of some Huntaways in New Zealand .

They also use another type of dog called “Heading dogs” over the ditch there it should be noted.
Fabulous dogs. Tremendous stamina needed for the distances and conditions they need to work in.
Here is a Huntaway working a few sheep .
Very interesting to watch the different way they work and how the necessity created their invention . Lots of bark
such a big dog too one would think to have the stamina.
I often think everyone in New Zealand must have very strong calf muscles with so many mountains and hills .
perhaps its the optimum build to handle it for the dogs that has evolved.
