Have any of you babies gone to local homes Chris?

No they are all miles away.
Last litter only had two Becky who stayed and Teddy who went to live in north Scotland.
Litter before that one went to north Scotland as well
Thankfully they are both great at keeping me updated with pictures.
The nearest is in Winsford
I met a gorgeous Soft-coated Wheaten terrier pup at a car boot sale in Norwich last week. I asked the owner how difficult they were to find and she said very-she had travelled half-way across the country to get hers.
Soft coated wheatens are lovely dogs. 405 registered with KC 2010 so more than Kerry's and Lakelands. There are two breeders of this breed that go to our ring craft club.
I guess if you decided to have one you would soon find out where to get one from.
Yes but it is a bit out of the question for us as although I think they are a lovely breed I doubt whether you would get a rescue one and I work part-time each day so we always get older rescues.
Perhaps this will be a possibility for when I retire though. I really like their look and temperament and they get good write-ups in books (not that you can always believe everything written in breed books!).
