Our wonderful .75% Anatolian, .25% Great Pyrenees named Remington just turned two years old. My wife and I are looking to find him a partner to breed with so we can keep his family with us forever. His temperament is very calm. He is very protective of his property and alerts to any animal or person that is not his. He is very gentle with our smaller dog and with us. I could not ask for a better family dog. Remington is around 100 lbs and is very tall. We live in Running Springs, and are near the LA area. Thank you
I wonder how the owner of Remington's potential bride would cope with the resulting litter of around twelve giant, mixed breed, livestock guardian puppies? After giving up their time, space and resources to rear them, what do you imagine the sales potential for mixed breed puppies from parents with no official health or performance records? I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I would worry if you were successful in persuading someone to enter into this arrangement. All the risks would be on their side and when you had had your pick, what if the other puppies didn't sell? Would you be prepared to take responsibility for them all?
