I'd consider mastiffs (of any type) and akitas both to be specialist dogs so crossing them together isn't likely to make a particularly 'easy' pet dog imo. Not too surprising that they're ending up in rescue, it's a shame though.
He actually looks really nice. Where is he Murf? Just found him - he's a she looks like a nice mix still.
Cutie Someone is going to really have their hands full though, at the very least she's going to be one seriously strong dog!
