New Mal puppy in Oklahoma, US General Chat

Hello everyone. I've been doing more research reading a few posts here and everyone seems super knowledgeable.

I just picked up a 10week old cute Mal girl and named her Sensi.

Found her on Craigslist from a gentlemen here in Oklahoma City that had both parents on site, which I've always regarded as important in selecting a puppy.
Here's a couple pics. One of the parents (hard to see the dad behind mom) and the puppy girl on the ride home.


I'm self employed and work from home and a nearby farm most of the day, so I plan to have her with me a lot. I've had a german shepherd before and she was probably the best dog I've ever had. Looking forward to training Sensi to do a lot of what my old german shepherd did. Walking without a lead, basic commands, catching a frisbee, and guarding the goats, chickens, and pigs from coyotes.

I'll be on this site as often as possible to soak up more info. Thanks everyone.
