... maybe about a year before this picture was taken... ... the couch, which opened into a double bed, was new. The beautiful throw, which was then spread along the seat of the couch for a small puppy named Tikva [once she was able to get onto the couch], was new. The couch is now more-or-less dead, due to the then small puppy and now not much bigger dog leaping on and off it. Impossible to sit on unless you like sitting on barely covered springs. And the throw ended up scrungled into Tikki's nest, re-arranged by her about twice a day. I was reminded of this picture when I took the throw out of the dryer this morning, having just washed it for the umpteenth time since then and put it back on the couch . Stink-eye? If looks could kill those eyes would have deaded me there and then!
