    Brena is healing up from her spay surgery excellently. our special baby is doing really well thank goodness! every day she gets better and better.

    you folks would not believe how smooth and soft her fur is! sometimes i just fall asleep with her on my lap petting her. :)

    Lovely pictures. Keep on rewarding her tricks and she'll prove the breed stereotype wrong! Talking of stereotypes - has she been hard to housetrain? I've been told that the smooths are difficult as they hate to go out in the rain.

    she was very hard to housetrain! after a couple of months we finally got her 100% housetrained, pretty much even in bad weather, but when she was younger she was extremely difficult to housetrain!!

    other than the housebreaking, she has proved to be a breeze to train!

    Hi Phil :) Brena is a lovely girl. Pleased to hear you have at last succeeded with the housetraining . I know someone who bred Daxies and she said of all the breeds she had previously they were the most difficult to housetrain .

    Brena turned 6 months and one week last saturday. she's still very tiny, but has gotten in most of her adult teeth except for her 2 upper canines. i'm not sure how much larger she's going to get, although she does have some loose skin so maybe she has a bit more growing to do. everyone who sees her says she has gotten a LOT longer.

    we no longer are using cell phones, so we don't have a cell phone camera to take pictures with. we may have another digital camera somewhere, just have to look since we moved.
