Puppy food Questions

    I don't think anyone is shouting Heather.

    The blood in poo is not that unusual in puppies who have just moved to their owners. A combination of stress and, in your case, food issues can and does cause it far more often than you'd think. The breeder I got Rosie from told me she had raised the pups on Pedigree puppy food (all varieties) which I very much doubt as Rosie is highly intolerant/allergic to chicken and even with the other flavours she's not right.

    As I said, we got her sorted in the end, but it was a scary ride - especially seeing that bloody poo.

    I'm glad your lad has settled down now on his food. Whatever you have him on now, if he's settled, leave him on it for a couple of months before considering any changes. That way he's only having to cope with one thing at a time.
