This pregnant Dobermann was rescued from a house fire. The fireman carried her out, left her safely in the front yard, and continued to fight the fire. Some time later, when he was able to rest, he came and sat down in the yard. The dog came up to him and rewarded him with a grateful kiss. The incident was caught by a N. Carolina press photographer. Mutual compassion?
