At least he doesn't look over weight? The last he appears to have some waste and not carrying fat.

He's from a higher energy line surprisingly for the lines size.
We do about a mile in the morning and do about 3 miles after work everyday, weekends we do generally 3 walks a day which is anywhere from 5 to 8 miles total.

That's awesome to hear of in an English Mastiff. I think that's great.

    Milana and 6JRT's like this.
This shot from today should give a better view of his over view build.
Currently I'm guessing he is around 175 to 180lbs.

He looks enormous to me ... Georgina weighs in at 39lbs which makes Mouse 4.5 times her weight and Gwylim only 19lbs equal to a mid morning snack for a dog like Mouse!

My dog was 32.6lbs on vet scale a few days ago. Lol.

It is more compliment. I've seen dogs that weight (170-200lbs) which look great. But I've also seen dogs that weight grossly obese. 20-30 lbs fat. So he doesn't look really "big".

I believe what Bulldogs4life is talking about is, body shape not weight.

Mouse will broaden a lot in the next year, head and chest wise.

Last night I was watching a repeat of the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice and what should I see in one of the episodes but the most beautiful pied English Mastiff! Perhaps you LMost you could correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand pied Mastiffs are no longer recognised by Kennel Clubs?

You would be 100% correct. For unknown reason they where written out, around 1870's. Not sure if it was a fall in popularity, or if some felt it met mixed blood.
While in fact purebreds can have piebald pups, there has been a big push to have them put back into the KC standard along with the AKC, MCOA and the OEM Club to recognize them.
There are currently a handful of Piebald breeders in the US and UK currently, but there hardest fight is byb breeders and mixing to call them rare and make money.
Hopefully one day they will be accepted back into the standard.
