Thinking about getting a Papillon to show

My main concern is wether my two jack Russell's would injure the Papillon when playing with it?

Any other info you can give me and if anyone knows of a champion breeder of them in the South of England I would be grateful.

    Thanks all

Pingu 007 on here has Paps and also a Dobermann. The stronger dog learns to play with the smaller if supervised well and taught, so don't worry! The Papillons also mingle with my Estrelas, JRT and Malamute a couple of times a week (as we work together).

    Ah, thanks very much!

Just found a champion breeder that has puppies ready to leave a few weeks before my birthday (in about a month). Now onto the task of persuading mother to let me get one of them. She has come to terms with the breed and I have said I want nothing for my birthday or Christmas, so who knows.

What is a good price for a champion puppy?

I would imagine £1000 for a show quality pup.

What do you mean by a champion puppy?
A well bred pup? A pup from champion parents??

Most pedigrees have champions in the lines, unless it is parents it is often meaningless.

Well my 2yr old Pap bitch does not think she is a small dog,and plays quite roughly and if she thinks is missing out on somethingquite easily gets over a 3ft 6ins fence she weighs just over 3kgs,She plays with and goes for miles with 3 BCs and a GSD.

    Good Luck with your pup

We are currently on the waiting list for a Pap bitch to Show.

I have a Leonberger who is over 10 stone and a little x breed about small cavalier size who bosses him about!!

A pap will fit right in!
