Training my Dalmatian puppy :) Questions

    I use these open top pens for Dottie at night time, its bigger enough to put her extra large basket in plus 2 water bowls & some teddies

    Dottie can climb out if she wants (she use the back of her basket to climb out) She did the first couple of nights but now enjoys going into her pen & stays there all night now.

    We were going to get an open top one but went with what we have. Just because of how big he will be when he is fully grown haha :)

    image.jpg Hey guys just thought I would give you a quick update on rush. He is doing well always getting into mischief!! He is getting better aroun other dogs to he is learning not to be as bouncy and hyperactive around them haha. He is growing so quick now!

    How he's grown! He's a lovely boy. Don't worry, if you keep up the training he will settle - eventually. Dally's are such an energetic breed. (They really need a horse drawn carriage to follow).

    image.jpg image.jpg Hey guys thought I would give you another up date. Rush is getting better every day :D he has his moments were he is a nightmare but all in all the good days seem to be outweighing the bad :). We recently took him to something called puppie parties at our vets. It was hard work as it gave rush chance to socialise with other dogs big and small, although he was the biggest of them all which was interesting haha!!

    He was star pupil and won the best trick competition with sit, paw, high 5, lay down and roll over. So proud of him :D. He is weighing a healthy 14kg now and my do we know about it when he jumps on us haha!!!

    We have cracked sleeping through the night. We found he was uncomfortable so out his big bed in his cage and we have no trouble now :D. My partner and myself went to an awards ceremony last night and rush wanted to come ( or so Chris said haha) :D image.jpg

    Hey guys hope you are all doing well? Just wanted to pick your brains. Rush has become so greedy is that just a common thing with Dallys or is there something we can try to stop him going for food that's not his?     I guess as a growing lad he thinks that all food is for him - but as I have an absolute gannet I am the last person to advise you on the subject of food! :lol:

    He looks great Rachael!

    Growing pups can get greedy, but it's possible he might not be getting all his nutrients - is he on a good quality food? You can supplement with home prepared food or bits of liver as treats and see how that goes :)
