I have a bullmastiff and when i was looking in to moving to spain years ago the vet did explain that it would take along time for my dog to get used to it so i had to make plans for keeping her cool and add electrolites to her water to stop dehydration. But he didnt say it was unsuitable. Most dogs dont do to well in extream heat and dry climate so you just have to be aware of the dangers and what you need to do about it.

I agree with Katy, I would avoid extremes of weather with large bull-breeds - Rocky was never keen on it too hot.

What kind of climate did you have in mind?

I have only ever seen one DdB here but do not know how common - or not - they are in this Country. Actually it was the first one I had ever seen!
