Unusual NI on rescue site General Chat

Okay, I know I should never brouse the rescue sites, but you know how sometimes you just can't resist another look through those pleading faces... When to my surprise I came across this boy:

He is registered as Axel 2 1/2 years old
Sadly he is looking for a quiet home with another calm canine.. and that is NOT kKismet , or I could be seriously tempted... I have never seen an NI with his colouring before. What a stunner he is!

My OH left me last week.. which means there's room on his side of the bed if you ask me But also less income ... It's that 'needs another calm dog' that worries me.. Kismet can be pushy and really wants a playmate, she has two boring calm dogs at home already.

His markings are very unusual.

he's soooo gorgeous!!! something about his colouring reminds me of an australian sheperd or heeler. what a gorgeous dog, hope he finds a home soon

Now they are playing ''swishing'' along the laminated floor.....pulling each other by thier collars.........looks a good game to be honest, but Pat won't play with me

Im sorry but as lovely as he is. He sure doesnt look like a northern inuit to me. The speckled back is very Australian Shepherd or Blue Merle like.
I'd say he was cross bred.

I see nothing Northern Inuity either but he is cute, I like speckles

He looks like an NI but it looks like his genes have thrown the collie part into his coat

What a babe! he has a great body shape and I love his speckles

Steph - you mean you have a dog collar to fit? It'll probably be raining on Sunday in Suton so bring it with you and Pat can pull you round on the slippy grass!! ;-)

Mine do that too. Except Zane hasn't sussed that it doesn't work on the carpet. Stupid dog - and I thought he was intelligent!

thast isnt "merleing" as seen in a ASD or BC , its speckles, I think in NIs its refered to as inkspotting? This is inkspotting gone mad!!!!!

He has a look of the Australian Cattle Dog in him!
