Hi! My dogs face has a reddish swollen area on the side of his nose and under his eye. He’s not acting different or anything so I wanted to see if anyone knew what this could be and if I need to go to the vet ASAP? Thank you, We really appreciate any help here!
Do you have a routine for cleaning his facial folds? It is possible that this is a fungal attack - similar to dermatitis, but deep in his wrinkles. If so, you might need some medication to clear it. I would get your vet to have a look, and advise you on future care of his wrinkles.
Thanks! Not a routine but we bath him consistently and make sure we was them! I’ll get him over thank you so much!
It Ended up being a reaction to something not a fungal attack. The vet told me to give him Benadryl and when that didn’t work they gave him an injection and it started clearing up.
