Hello all, We want to get a border terrier into our family. Our kids really want a light colored border terrier. All puppies are we see are all really dark/black. At how many weeks would it be possible to determine the color the border terrier will be? much thanks in advance

It's hard to tell in young puppies. The girl in my avatar was almost completely black as a pup. As you can see, her face and legs turned tan. She was a blue and tan, but as a young pup, no one could be sure. To get a better idea of adult colouring, look at the parents. If both are light coloured, chances are that the pup will grow up to be too Whatever the colouring, they are wonderful dogs
