Akita to skinny from food that gives him good poops General Chat

Glad all is well. Nigredo is much thinner than before. Taking him off his favorite food for many months seemed to help. He's been on Nutro. Malone still looks sorta thin to me, but I remind myself that I have been looking at chubby Nigredo for 7 years so he is probably normal weight.

Because he's an Australian Shepherd mix, and because his skin was a tad flaky, the lady said to take him off food that contains chicken. He actually doesn't prefer chicken flavors and I have been feeding him foods with fish as the main protein.

Pure Balance Salmon, and now Crave with Fish protein (this has chicken), and I just got Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream since it was on sale. His next bag will be the Victor Yukon River.

He steals cat food though and it is hard to keep him from doing this. I guess I will begin training him to try and ban him from the kitchen like Nigredo. He does not get fed in there anymore. He goes in there to get water and steal cat food.
